Vehicle Control Barriers & PAS 68 Barriers

Vehicle control barriers, provide a wide range of security and access control levels & PAS 68 impact tested vehicle security barriers protect critical infrastructure from hostile vehicle intent, at the highest levels.

They operate similar to a traditional traffic control barrier and have a less aggressive appearance to other forms of HVM solutions and yet deliver a high level of physical protection for an access point.

Our range of automated & manual security barriers can be used to control access to sites or manage vehicle parking spaces.  To suit a range of road widths and environments our rising arm barriers can be integrated with most forms of access control to provide a holistic traffic management systems.

For vehicle access control working within hazardous environments, we have our range of ATEX and IECEx certified rising arm barriers, designed to operated in potentially explosive environments.

EB750-Security-Barrier

Avon EB9590CR Armstrong Barrier

A rising arm barrier that has been PAS 68 impact tested for the highest security applications, designed to protect entrances and exits of critical infrastructure from hostile vehicle attack.

Avon EB950 Triumph Security Barrier

An ideal vehicle control barrier for industrial car parks and security control; it can easily integrate with access control systems and is recommended for a wider road width or if signage, lights or drop skirts are required for the barrier arm (boom).

Avon EB750 Excel Barrier

An ideal security barrier that can be utilised as an automatic traffic barrier for car parks and security control, easily integrates with revenue collection and access control systems and is recommended for a wider road width or if signage, lights or drop skirts are required for the boom.

Avon EB450 Parking Barrier

A proven 100% duty cycling rising arm barrier, the EB450 Parking Barrier is an ideal automatic car park barrier for medium to high usage car parks and security control; it can easily integrate with revenue collection and access control systems.

Avon EB750 ATEX CAT3 Barrier

A vehicle control barrier cabinet that is certified as an ATEX flameproof EX d enclosure and is certified to ATEX Group 2 Category 3 and can operate in environments classified as hazardous zone 1 areas for example the oil & gas, petrochemical, pharmaceuticals, chemicals & fertilizer industries.

The barrier is able to operate designated zone 2 hazardous environments or potentially explosive atmospheres:

Avon EX750 CAT2 Barrier

The vehicle control barrier is ATEX & IECEx certified as a Group 2 Category 2 product enabling it to operate in environments classified as hazardous Zone 2 & Zone 1 areas.

Avon GC1100CR Hinged Gate

A PAS 68 impact tested manually operated hinged gate ideal for low volumes of traffic flow, for securing a roadway or where the access point is used infrequently.

Avon Cedar Gate

A PAS 68 impact tested manually operated lifting gate which is a Hostile Vehicle Mitigation (HVM) solution, ideal for low volumes of traffic flow or where the access point is used infrequently.
