Crash Tested HVM Products – Our crash testing program, has included successfully impact testing to PAS 68, IWA 14-1, ASTM F2656 criteria and encompasses a wide range of Vehicle Security Barriers (VSBs) including:

  • Bollards (Static & Active)
  • Vehicle Barriers
  • Sliding & Manual Gates

With the emergence of a new aggressive form of vehicle borne terrorism in the 1990’s we have developed our product range to encompass a range of hostile vehicle mitigation (HVM) solutions that have been impact tested in accordance with internationally recognised industry standards, that can be incorporated into the design of a robust HVM strategy.

The physical testing & manufacturing quality standards of our high security systems provide our clients with confidence in their proven performance.

ASTM 2656-07 crash tested road blocker M50 P1 equivalent to K12 & PAS 68 & IWA 14-1

Avon RB1000CR Centurion Road Blocker

An ASTM 2656-07 impact tested road blocker. The blocker has a 1000mm high blocking segment and is designed as a Hostile Vehicle Mitigation (HVM) solution. Available as an optional HCIS Road Blocker specifically designed to comply with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s (KSA) Ministry of Interior HCIS Security Directives

Avon RB780CR Chieftain Road Blocker

A BSi PAS 68 impact tested road blocker designed as a Hostile Vehicle Mitigation (HVM) Solution. The blocker has a 800mm high blocking segment and comes in a variety of widths.

Avon RB880CR Defender Road Blocker

A road blocker with shallow foundations (<300mm). The blocker has a 1000mm high blocking segment and is designed as a Hostile Vehicle Mitigation (HVM) solution to be installed where deep foundation are not possible or are impracticable.

Avon RB980CR Sabre Road Blocker

A surface mounted road blocker. The blocker has a 1000mm high blocking segment and is designed as a Hostile Vehicle Mitigation (HVM) solution to be installed on the surface of the roadway, for fast deployment.

Avon Wedge II

Avon Wedge II Road Blocker physically tested to PAS 68, IWA14-1 and also the US standard ASTM F2656-15 achieving zero penetration in all tests.

Avon EB950CR Armstrong Barrier

A rising arm barrier that has been PAS 68 impact tested for the highest security applications, designed to protect entrances and exits of critical infrastructure from hostile vehicle attack.

Avon GC1100CR Hinged Gate

A PAS 68 impact tested manually operated hinged gate ideal for low volumes of traffic flow, for securing a roadway or where the access point is used infrequently.

Avon Universal Cedar Gate

An IWA-14-1& PAS 68 impact tested manually operated lifting gate which is a Hostile Vehicle Mitigation (HVM) solution, ideal for low volumes of traffic flow or where the access point is used infrequently.
